About Us

Saunora Prom, D.O. received his B.S. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. From there he completed a Family Medicine residency in Newport News, Va at Riverside Regional Medical Center in 2009. He continued his osteopathic training by completing an OMM/NMM +1 fellowship at UMDNJ-SOM in Stratford , NJ in 2010. He then concluded his training by completing a Sports Medicine fellowship at Virginia Tech in 2011 and earned his CAQSM in 2012.

Dr. Prom returned to the Tidewater region and joined TPMG. He also works with the Riverside regional  family medicine residency program as a Clinical Instructor. There, he teaches residents osteopathic manipulation in the hospital and clinic setting. Dr. Prom is the only triple board certified primary care sports medicine physician in the area.

His professional  interests include OMM in the athlete, concussions, musculoskeletal ultrasound, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), and injury prevention.

When he is not working he loves spending time with his family and friends, playing golf and watching the Hokies win.
